Kids Saving The Rainforest:
Wildlife Rescue
Costa Rica's Wildlife Rescue
Kids Saving the Rainforest is located in the heart of Manuel Antonio. Our rescue center passionately focuses on the rescue, research, and rehabilitation of iconic species such as sloths, primates, and parrots. We're deeply involved in the creation of wildlife bridges, reforestation projects, and educational initiatives for local children. Our jungle campus is a vibrant learning hub, welcoming students, teachers, and professionals globally to immerse themselves in wildlife at our rescue center and sanctuary.
Scientific Research: Advancing global conservation knowledge.
Wildlife Corridors: Installing bridges for safe animal passages.
Reforestation: Protecting and expanding Costa Rica's lush landscapes.
Education: Empowering the next generation with eco-consciousness.
We pride ourselves on offering authentic wildlife experiences to global learners. KSTR proudly stands as an accredited 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
Volunteer & Internship Programs in Costa Rica
Kids Saving the Rainforest wouldn't be where it is today without the help from our amazing volunteers and interns.
Volunteers and interns have the opportunity to work with our full-time KSTR staff and help monitor, observe, and care for the wild animals that we host at our sanctuary and rescue center.
We offer study abroad trips for teachers and students of all ages and intern/volunteer programs from 1 week to 1 year.

Great place to go! Each animal rescued here has a story. Very informative tour! People here are trying to help animals back to the wild.
